  • The evil swirls!

Good day to wash my car, hopefully the SoCal weather stays like this for at least a week. I'm just waiting for the NXT Spray Wax to haze up, so I just wanted to post a picture of the swirls I have. A couple of months ago, I did:

    Wash with NXT
    Clayed
    ScratchX
    Turtle Wax 2001 Polish
KIT Carnauba Wax (Still trying to use up all this old stuff. =P)

The Neon looks good, except the swirls are still here.

I'm guessing I probably need to use more applications of ScratchX? I'm still working by hand right now, but if I ever get enough money to save up for a G100, what products would you guys suggest to give my Neon a swirl free look?

And just because, here's a picture of a Lotus (well, at least the top half) that parked next to me while I was leaving Jack In The Box. =P

[EDIT]: Added two pictures after today's wash and Spray Wax. I still think I might 'need' to buy a G100. =P

Aside from Scratch X, I prefer to use #9 Swirl Remover 2.0 by hand to remove swirls. You don't have to work it as hard as SX but I don't know how the results compare. I love how it looks especially when I follow it with 2 coats of NXT and DC 3.
