  • Question re: Deep Crystal Polish

First off, hello everyone, I'm new to the forum.

I have a dark steel grey metallic BMW which was just professionally super detailed and shines like there's no tomorrow. But I live in a dusty area and drive a lot and have a ton dirt and bug splatters constantly. Hence I try to wash my car every week, my question is: since it was just detailed a month ago, do i still need to clay after I wash/dry? Will the Deep Crystal Polish I just bought hurt the sealant the detailers just put on my car?

Ideally I'd love to wash/dry my car then apply Deep Crystal Polish, then apply 2 coats NXT wax, then top it off with Hi-Tech Yellow Wax and finally maintain with Quik Detailer? Is this an acceptable sequence for a car that was just professionally detailed?

    Thanks everyone.

Your regimen sounds like a good one......one you could apply every 4-6 weeks. In between, I would just maintain that just waxed look with the NXT spray wax. It's great stuff. Most of us clay about every 6 months. Just depends on the conditions your car is exposed to. If you don't have a DA polisher, you might think about getting one. It will give you fantastic results...as good if not better than a professional detailer. AND, it saves ALOT of wear and tear on your arms!
