  • PlastX on Bug Shield

I was using the PlastX to polish up a bug deflector, doing a small test area first. I used a spare MF towel, polished it in till it kinda looked clear, then wiped off. But I can see small swirls in the plastic.

Is that something that might be caused by a soft MF, would a foam applicator get rid of those marks? (Didnt have a spare foam applicator to try right away) OR what is the best to apply the PlastX with?

I used a foam applicator and it came out fine.

you might have to do more than 1 coat...that's usual w/ the meguiars products I think.

or you might want to go w/ the clear plastic cleaner, then clear plastic polish - like all things anything that isn't a 1 step usually works better.

          Thanks for the replies

I was working it in some...though not too much at first. When i saw some marks, I tried with the terry working it in till it broke down to try and remove the marks.
