Would a trip to the coin op car wash help? Maybe even use the brush under there? just don't use it on the paint. Then go home and do some final cleaning.

F-150- Every time you clean it up it'll get better and easier.

I'd get the jack and stands. No way would I want to be without them, in fact, I keep a pair of floorjacks and some stands in the wash bay just so I can get to the undercarriages better (and I'm not a pro).

While it'd be a big hassle, you might consider taking the spare down to do it. For one thing, you'd find out if it'll come down/go up the way it oughta (or you might find its hardware is rusted solid), plus you can inflate it and otherwise take care of things down there. Consider the hassle of doing it now under controlled conditions vs. having to do it for the first time when you're on the road with a flat (which always seems to happen in the rain).

Yeah I was seriously goin to take the spare down just to clean the tire and put endurance on it. Clean a lil bit mroe under there while I was at it. I was thinking about getting a pressure washer but I'm not sure how well it'll do.

I dunno...I have a pressure washer but I hardly ever use it for my undercarriages. I just don't need it. Not saying it isn't a handy thing to have, but mine hardly ever gets used on the vehicles.
