It seems like APC is usualy used at 2 dilutions.. 10:1 for interior, and 4:1 for exterior wheelwells, underbody... Are these the only two usefull dilutions, or would backing off to like 6:1 for mildly dirty wheelwells be ok?

Havent used it before, just wondering if there is a reason for those specific dilutions?

I clean my tires with the 10:1 mix, the wheel wells are cleaned with a 4:1 mix. The only reason I use these dilutions are because they are printed on the side of the bottle. I'm sure 6:1 would do the job, but it's just easier to go by the markings.

        Hey,

Yes, the first number respresents the amount of water Ie. 4:1 =4 parts water, 1 part cleaner.

Also, yes, you can use different dilution ratios as they are only suggestions. But I would not go stronger than 4:1. I generally use mine at ~7:1 which does a great job in most instances.

I've tried the 9:1 ratio on my tires, but it didn't seem to clean that well (Maybe a little).

I think 4:1 works better on tires.........At least for me.
