  • New Paint In Winter Weather

My neighbors' lil kid threw landscaping stones all over my DeVille, chipping and scratching it badly. So I'm having the entire car repainted. The paint shop said to wait 90 days after they finish painting the car before applying any wax or sealant! My question is what can I/should I do to try and protect my new paint until the 90 days is up? This will include Nov, Dec and Jan winter weather up here in north central Washington State.
It's a small world, but I wouldn't want to have to detail all of it.

You can use something like #80 which will provide some protection while still allowing your paint to breathe. #5 is another option, but if you need to remove any marring or swirls, #80 may do a better job.

Yeah, #80 is about the best option. And if you didnt have it painted yet, you can always wait a month or two to get through the worst weather.
