OK, I have a 2001 Tahoe in very good condition. But i would like to prep it for the spring and can't seem to make my mined up on which clay bar to use. I have never used clay but i really would like to give it a shot. Any suggestion?

If you are going to get it from meguiars 800 number here is my vote: http://www.meguiarsonline.com/forums...=&threadid=799
If not, the Quik Clay System provides good results. From whats said on this forum the clay in quik clay is a new style bar and I am sure I have never used the new style bar. So I can only compare the old style quik clay bar to the on I talk about in the link above.Last edited by gb387; Apr 26, 2004, 06:04 PM.Brandon

I broke down this past weekend (it was a moment of weakness). I couldn't find Meguiar's clay bar locally and have a deadline to meet, so I tried the Mommies clay bar. I hate to say but it worked well. It was also my first time using clay bar. I would hate to see how a far superior product like Meguiar's would do!!

Meguiar's has three brand new clay's out.
There is a new, dramatically improved clay in Meguiar's Quik Clay System
And the old C-2000 in the Professional line and the D-6100 and D-6200 clay bars have been done away with.
The new clay bars in the Professional Line are supposed to be shipping now if you order through Meguiar's Customer Care Hotline at 1-800-347-5700
The part numbers are,
C-2000 Mild
C-2100 Aggressive
I'm not sure of prices yet, but I'll find out.
Mike
