  • What's the Temp. Range needed to use Polishes?

Wanted to know if there is a optimal temprature range to be in when using Polishes and such i.e. #83, 80, Scratch X, NXT Wax and so on.

I ask because i've finally got a few days straight to work on the car... but the temp is dropping from 70F to 55-60F.

Is it OK to still use these liquids in such colr temps?

    Thanks !

Not sure on what the actual "guidelines" for proper temperatures would be but i have applied those products in temperatures of the 55-60 range with no problems at all. Now this is just my guess but I would say that they are safe to use down to possibly 50 degrees without having to really have some concern but hopefully someone with more knowledge will come along and say.

Your set-up times can be affected, but they should work down to 50F at least.

I have had good luck with the A-12 cleaner/wax on 40F or so degree days, and i am hoping for the same from ColorX. I tend to stick with cleaner/wax in the cold times of year.
