Somewhat unfortunately, the numbers dont really go in order.
If you were to use each step in order, they would go from more abrasive to milld:
1. #83 - Medium Cleaner/ Polish
2. #80 - Milder Cleaner / Polish
3. #82 - Very Mild Cleaner Polish
4. #81 - Pure Polish
5. Wax
Now, you dont have to use all 5 of those steps. Most people will only do #80, then straight to wax. Some will do #80, followed by #81, or another pure polish like #7, etc. That is up to you, and what gives you the best results for your time.
Just a suggestion here, but if you're pressed for time while doing a full detail then I would suggest just polishing the top surfaces with #81 instead of applying it to the whole car.
I've found myself in that predicament before......Course you might be quicker than me too.
not trying to hijack this thread..
but is 81 simular to 7 just in a bigger bottle?
reason i ask value wise plus if you detail more
last question will it work with a PC/Rotary but preferably PC?
