  • Waxes/Sealants cleaning abilities.

Folks I hope to do some experimenting with "ALL" the sealants and waxes offered by Meg's over the next year or 2. One of the things I'd like to know is the cleaning ability of each of the waxes and sealants.

For example: does NXT TECH have more Cleaning ability or less than Gold Class. Or does NXT TECH have more or less cleaning ability than #20?

Has anyone stumbled on or put out a list of each wax/selants cleaning ability, say from leat to most?

This is one of the things I'd like to know before deciding on the order in which I want to try the various products.

The waxes we offer that are not formulated to clean the finish and thus are formulated for and targeted at finishes in excellent condition, (New cars, new paint after it's 30 days cured, or a finish that has been previously cleaned and polished), would be,
    • * Deep Crystal Carnauba Wax (A blended Wax)
      * M26 Hi Tech Yellow Wax (A blended Wax)
      * M16 Professional Paste Wax (A blended wax and discontinued)
      * M56 Pure Wax (Blended wax in the Marine Line)

All of our other waxes contain ingredients that help to clean the surface in order to create beauty and promote product adherence, or in other words, longevity. (Wax won't stick to dirty paint).

NXT Tech Wax and M21 are kind of in a category by themselves because neither contain enough cleaning ability to be considered cleaner/waxes, but at the same time, because they do contain a small amount of specialized cleaners so they don't really fall into what the general consensus would classify as a pure wax, i.e. a wax that doesn't contain any ingredients with the intended purpose of cleaning or abrading the finish.

Hmmm I wonder how the M56 would look.
