Just a random question or two..
While it is ok to use a polish after something like colorX, to take advantage of colorX's cleaning ability, and then use separate polish and wax steps after to get the best results, will a polish over the wax actualy make it to the paint to replenish lost oils, etc? Or is this only going to be for looks, and not get in contact with the paint itself to help it?
When we talk about the DA, we say maybe to use 4 pounds of pressure, etc. But when working by hand, say with ScratchX or ColorX, like on on the "Bronco makeover", how hard are we talking about pressing? And should ColorX be worked in like ScratchX, as in the "How to remove Scratches" article? ScratchX may need 3 applications in the same spot to reach maximum potential, is that like ColorX. Or is one well worked in coat, whatever that means, reaching its maximum?
And does anyone know of good floormats for the winter? My Subaru came with thin carpet ones, or they sell replacement heavy rubber ones. Neither seems good for dealing with slush and water, etc. There are heavy rubber/cloth ones made by L.L.Bean, but they are a tad expensive, with shipping and all.
Thanks
