I have never used speed detailer so I don't know if it will work. We use water with a pinch of Meguiars soap. We have found out the NXT wah isn't a good soap to use to make "clay lube". Use #00 or #62 or even better hyper wash.
As far as clay. Stick with the blue and clay lightly.

You have to watch what you use as a clay lube. I ran out of QD once and did not have my supply of other stuff yet. So I decided to make up a bottle of lube with NXT Car Wash Soap and a little dishwashing soap. It worked OK but after about 15 minutes of claying, the clay started breaking down. You could literally wash it away with water.
I undetrsatand Gold class will work, diluted, as Joe recommended some of the other products as well. As for using Speed Detailer, I can;t say I have seen many posts from others as having used that so I would shy away from using it.
I have started using Last Touch, diluted and it works well for me. Plus I can get it by the gallon.
I think QD is best, or one of the soaps as Joe mentioned. The Nxt Detailer will work, but it just doesnt seem quite as good to me. Won't harm anything though if you have to.
Meguiars makes 3 clays, two of which come in black containers:
Quick Clay - Comes in Box, light gray color.
Mild Detailer Clay - Small Black Jar - Blue color
Aggressive Detailer Clay - Small Black Jar - Red Color.
