  • How Often Should I Clay and Paint Clean?

Due to how thin paint finishes are these days, I'd be interested to know how often a car can be clayed and/or paint cleaned safely?

    Thanks.

There is no set answer for a question like that, but as far as clay goes, you should be able to clay as often as you like since clay uses a special lube to allow it to glide across the surface, thus IMO, protecting the paint.

Meguiar's paint cleaners are very safe to use too, but keep in mind that you only want to use the least aggressive product to get the job done.

Maybe someone else can break things down a little better here than me, but I thought I'd give you my take on it.
