  • Trailer Black Streaks

What do you guys use to remove the black streaks on trailers. I have an enclosed white car hauler and the black streaks after a rain kill me. Wouldn't be so bad if they wiped off. Any products that easily remove them? What about a wax that prevents them from coming back?

I just polished my white horse trailer with #83 (DACP) and #80 (Speed Glaze)......followed by a coat of NXT wax. The streaks came right off, and up til now have not returned. I think its a matter of washing or QD'ing more frequestly to keep the streaks from coming back.

        Bill,

I would go with Meguiar's #6 Cleaner Wax followed by a coat of NXT High Tech Wax. Once your trailer is cleaned, polished and waxed then you could use NXT Spray Wax to help remove those black streaks.

There is no easy way to keep those streaks from reappearing other than keeping your trailer polished and waxed frequently and using the spray wax in-between.
