Does anyone have much expereince with the mirror in the side mirrors? Mine seem to have picked up some fine swirls/scratches in the glass, or plastic? Is it a plastic coating over the mirror that I could use PlastX on? Or am I just stuck with the swirls?

Mine as well has some fine scratches / swirls in them when the sun hits them just right. I am not sure how you can get rid of them but would interested in hearing some others chime in.

I don't know that any mirror material being used in side mirror's is being made out of plastic? My best guess is that its glass. You should be able to find this out from the dealership.

If it's glass... you're more or less, (mostly more), stuck with the scratches.

        I am just guessing here.

I think they are glass and I think they are a tinted coating on them. Is the glass etched or is it more like a scratch in the tint? I think some of these are tinted to a level to tone down someone blasting you with their headlights behind you. I still get blasted, but wonder how bad it would be without the tint. Again, I notice the tint in some mirrors.
