  • Mixing Ultimate Quik Wax G200924 with Gold Class Carnauba Plus Liquid Wax G7016?

Hi all, my friend is mixing Ultimate Quik Wax with Gold Class Carnauba Plus Liquid Wax in 8:2 ratio in a bottle. He claims to achieve both the longevity of Ultimate Quik Wax and the deep shine of the Gold Class carnauba line in one easy spray step.

Is this something that's doable? or mixing both actually have negative impacts to both products?

    Thanks

Hi for some reason many people try to mix and come up with some secret combination which they find works for them, but we would not suggest it. Not necessarily going to hurt anything but not going to deliver best results in our opinion.

Thanks Nick! Alright I get it. Appreciate the response from the manufacturer.

I would focus on the prep work of the paint prior to applying a coat of wax, as this is going to make the most noticeable difference in the gloss, i.e. ensuring it is polished, especially polishing with a finishing polish like our M200 PRO Speed Polish and a D/A Polisher would be ideal. Not sure if you are working by hand or not, but imo the combination of a d/a polisher, a polish or finishing pad, and one of our professional finishing polishes seems to far outshine anything one can accomplish by hand.
