  • Ultimate WWW question

First off, I’ve been registered for a year but this is my first post. Somehow my account wasn’t being recognized properly but Nick was kind enough to get me fixed up. I’m not a pro but just an old hobbyist with a few cars to keep up best I can (given some physical limitations) who happens to LOVE Meguiar’s products. Unfortunately I’m afraid I’ll have a lot more questions than answers.

Here’s the first one: is there any reason I couldn’t or shouldn’t use Ultimate Waterless Wash and Wax in place of Ultimate Quik Detailer? Given the extra lubricity it just feels safer and the wax content sure leaves a nice gloss. It doesn’t seem any harder to work with to me. For obvious reasons I realize you wouldn’t want to substitute the two products the other way around!

I’ve tried it and hope I’m not missing something I should be aware of.

Thanks for sharing & happy to see your first post. No reason you cannot use Ultimate Waterless Wash & Wax in place of Ultimate Quik Detailer (besides it costs more). Personally I prefer a quick detailer spray if* the vehicle truly does have just very light dust as the application tends to be a bit faster/slicker, but again, no reason you cannot perform what you have proposed if you have found that is your preference.

And by the way keep asking away - We are happy to help!
