  • Test area?

    Good afternoon all,

I was wondering when you do a taped off test area, say on the hood, when you come to do that whole area do you "skirt" round the test area or just go over it again in course of doing that particular panel?

    Thanks

If I liked what I used in the test area and are doing that to the entire car, I will blend into it. But when coming back to the wax step, I will wax over it.

I tend to just go over it again as though nothing had happened but I don't focus a lot of time or energy on the cleaning step in that area.

You definitely want to remove any lines, or differences in appearance from where the tape line was.
