  • DC 1 beads on paint?

My Deep Crystal System Paint Cleaner “beads” on paint. Of course I shaked the bottle before using it.
Not tiny beads, but very large size beads (often half size of palm). The liquid does not spread as a uniform thin layer. It comes together somehow, and leaves some area covered by the liquid, other area not covered by the liquid.

    Is this normal?
I experienced the same thing with two bottles of DC 1.

Sounds like your using way to much product. I find it works best applying the product to the applicator first and rub it in. It shouldn't be enough product to pool. It actually should be a semi-thin layer. And remember, dont let it dry. Am I close in helping? I hope so.

      Exactly.

Wash the car, then clay it and make sure to wipe off any clay residue.

Next, put DC1 directly on an applicator and apply it quite thin. You will see where it cleans.

      Follow DC1 with DC2

Do not let either DC1 or DC2 dry. Only waxes should be left to dry.

Finally Wax with your favorite Wax.

Try putting about a quarter size drop on a applicator it should feel like your putting lotion on your car, it seems like your just smearing this product into the paint work the product in by sections of the car then wipe off immediately.

          Yes,

I've noticed that when I apply it, it does tend to bead a little, but not in "pools". Just use a little bit. It should look like you're putting wax on the car, just a thin layer.

Plus, to add that none of the DC steps are supposed to "dry" before removing them. The Carnauba wax bonds with the paint immediately, so you just wipe it on and off like a polish.

I thought that all waxes had to "haze" before I took them off, and boy-oh-boy did I have a hard time getting dry DC 3 off the surface!

          Just my $ .02
