OMG... NXT all metal polish is great

hello
i have been working on my aluminum rims on my 1985 rx7
one at a time
its been a lot of work removing old clear coat first with aircraft paint remover, then wet sanding, 400 , 800, 1000 , and finally 2000 grit.
i couldnt find Nxt Metal Polish at the stores
So i tried blue coral metal polish, and it left a dull shine actully it didn't leave any shine i was really disappointed
i was about to give up because i didnt think that they would shine like chrome
anyway to make long story short
i found some NXT metal polish today.
i polished a small spot at first and OMG did it make it shine
So then i did the rest of the wheel
i realize they are show perfect but i'm very happy with the results

pictures? The nxt metal polish is great stuff. I even use it on my raw aluminimum alternator, engine accesory bracket.

thanks for the tip on the alternator i nevr thought about using it for that.
i need to get some batteries for my camera , i will take some pictures and post them tommorow.

WHERE are you guys finding this polish ??...I've looked at PepBoys, AutoZone, Advanced Auto parts, NOTHING.....is it only available online ??

Its at pepboys auto zone etc around here. I order 90% of all my stuff online.

i took some pictures of my rims before and after
i realize the rims aren't Show perfect but they are also almost 21 years old.
i very happy with the results even though they arent perfect , plus they were done all by hand.:biggrin:
