  • An RX for my Car?

    Hi,

I was wondering if a Pro could give me evaulate my "Battle Plan" and tell me what you I should do differently. Kinda like an RX. I tried to do the RX but still little confused on which products.
Ive waxed cars before using Meguairs but I want to make this one Perfect.

    First off the PICTURES.

    FRONT

    HOOD

    BACK

    SIDE

    Then the Plan.

Wash the car with a soft/clean sheep skin glove x 2.
    Meguairs Deep Crystal

Bug and Tar Remover on the front using
Meguiars Bug and Tar Remover (gold class)

Clay the Hood, Roof, and Trunk
    Meguiars quick Claying system

Polish by hand using Meguiars Yellow Foam Applicators
    Show Car Glaze Number 7

NXT Generation Tech Wax. Apply by hand 2x and use orbital bufffer with white terry bonnet to remove?

Does this sound right? Also should I use Micro-Fiber clothes to remove the Clay and Polish and use the Orbital buffer in the end on the wax?

    Thanks for your help guys.

    Welcome back Proph!

    Ahh black. Our favorite color!

I have some suggestions that might help but, I'm very short on time. I'll do my best to go over your steps and offer suggestions later this evening when I have more time.

As a general statement, you have a great plan of attack but, I'd like to suggest another product (or two) that might help out tremendously. And specifically on some of the deeper swirls that I saw on your hood picture.

Also, you mentioned you have an orbital? How comfortable are you with that particular machine on your finish?

    Stay tuned...
