Subject sounds silly, but I'm serious.
My car is less than 2 months old, but I've have been having an ongoing battle trying to get my windows clean. You can read one of the threads here.
I finally broke down & decided to do as suggested in this thread. I got some #4 & buffed pretty hard by hand with a terry cloth applicator. I thought the situation was getting better.
But today I did my weekly wash & after drying, cleaned the windows with NXT Glass Cleaner. I then inspected my windows (outside) closely & saw that they are still covered with "something"
I don't know what "it" is, but it looks like tiny water spots. I can feel the edges of these spots with my fingernail, but they just will not come off. They are not very noticeable most of the time, but they seem to be preventing me from getting my windows really clean.
I can't imagine what they could be, as the car is so new & is garaged nightly. Maybe they are remnants of shipping from overseas?
In any case, I think it's time for me to get some professional advice. I think the best bet is to go to a detail shop & see if they can remove these spots. Make sense?
I only know of one shop & I could go there, but I don't know anything about them. I'm hoping someone on this forum runs or knows of a good shop in central NJ I could visit.
Any other ideas also appreciated.
