  • Woodgrain swirls

My grandpa has a BMW 745iL with a woodgrain center console. I finally got the car nearly swirl free, but the woodgrain has light swirls that drive me crazy, and detract from the cars "perfection". Has anyone ever tried scratch-x or 80 on woodgrain?

Is it real wood? Meguiars does make wood care products, as well as guitar care products that may be useable.

If it is fake plastic wood, you may be better off with one of the plastic care products, like PlastX.

I'll take a picture and post it later, but basically it looks like it has a clear surface or coating over it.

I have the exact same deal with my woodgrain. It has "mini" swirls in it. I have Plastic X but never tried it on woodgrain....maybe I should..I'll try it one day and post pictures.
