  • Lets just talk about Aggressive Detailing Clay

Without going into a long winded story here( I do do that sometimes ) let me just jump in.

I detaileled my neighbors 2000 Expidition yesterday and used the (consumer) standard, off the auto store shelf, Clay. I have used this "Consumer Level" without any issues up until now and therefore, turn to the people I count on for all my Megs detailing needs.

I clayed and it took out most of the contaminents, there was still some left behind that I could feel. I messaged (kneeded) the clay and it was new, so I feel that obviously, the contaminents were far greater embedded then the "level" of the clay I was using. And, I re-worked the area several times also.

So this is what I ask:

    1) I assume under this situation; this calls for the job of Aggressive Detailing Clay?

    2) What is done differently when using Aggressive Detailing Clay opposed to the Consumer Grade?

    3) I take it the Professional Grade is not idiot proof as the Consumer Grade?

    Thanks All.

Use it just like regular clay. Just make sure you're using a QD as lube on this stuff. The agressive stuff will most likely swirl/haze the paint a bit so you will need to polish afterwards. Other than that there's not much difference.
