  • Natural Shine Vinyl & Rubber Protectant

    Hi,
Can I use Natural Shine Vinyl & Rubber Protectant on the black plastic bumper covers of my Honda CRV? Thanks

    Hi Splat,

    Welcome to Meguiar's Online!

You can use this product on exterior plastic and it will make it look better but a better product for this material would be Gold Class Trim Detailer

You can but i'd personally use some Gold Class vinyl and rubber protectant. I use it on my black 89 camry's bumpers and trim and it really brings the shine and color back. Natural shine is a great product though.

I would use the Trim Detailer. Watch the video... it lasts about as long as your wax job.

The trim detailer is excellent! I love how it makes my faded bumper on my Tundra look brand new again.

            Hi Spat!......Welcome to the forum.

I mainly use Natural Shine on the interior, but I like it on tires too.

            Are you from the upstate?

              Hey,

I was wondering about Gold Class Trim Detailer. I can not find this stuff in my area and therefore use Mothers Back to Black (which I can find in my area). Is the Gold Class Trim Detailer equivalent to the the Mothers brand? I found that the Mothers lasts for about 2-3 weeks and then shows some signs of of fading out (slight). One of the posts stated above that the Meg's stuff lasts as long as your wax does (1-2 months). Is that true? I would prefer to switch to Meg's and most likely will have to get this stuff thru the net if it as good as the Mothers stuff. But I just wanted to know about the megs durability. Anyone have any thoughts? THANX ! !

I've never tried Mother's before, but Trim Detailer is truly a bargin at just $2.99 a bottle.....If you can find it in your area of course.

I've seen it at Advance Auto around here.

The gold class trim detailer is one of my favorite products to use on my plastic side mirrors, rear bumper, and door handles. It makes them look very dark black and shines a bit. The aersol can has an adjustable spray and sprays very clean straight lines. Very quick and easy to use. I'd say it lasts very long. I used it 2 weeks ago and it's still very black and shines so I didn't use it during last weekend's car wash. It rained this morning actually and last week ( not hard just a long sprinkle) and it's still kept the plastic parts a dark black. Only thing is it can be kinda greasy even a few days after applying it. But I never wiped it off, it seems to mist on and sticks to the plastic parts very well. I'm very happy with the product but I have yet to try the GC trim detailer.
