  • mixing NXT spray wax with NXT liquid wax

My understanding is the spray wax contains very little amt of wax.
I am thinking about mixing liquid wax into it to "boast" the wax amt and at the same time convienience/speed of spray wax.
Any harm or counter-productive about this mixing?

Sounds like an interesting idea.. though a few things to consider:

    1. The Liquid wax is thicker , may not spray well.
2, If it does, it will increase drying time, perhaps canceling out the bennefit of a spray.

But, you may just want to try it. Let us know how it works.

To be completely honest, you can probably put down a coat of NXT liquid just as quick as you can evenly apply the spray wax. If full protection is what you are looking for, I'd stick to simply applying the liquid and not bother with mixing products that may not be compatible. It's fun to experiment, but I really can't see the benefits outweighing the hassle.

How often do you wax your car? I just used NXT spray today. I wax my car once a month with #26. Every two weeks I use booster spray. You will get atleast a good month out of Meg's wax. I wouldn't mix. Even though you might not think so, it is quicker just using the spray booster because if you apply the right amount it comes right up with a swip from a cotton towel. I don't think mixing is worth the possible aggrivation. Atleast not on my BLACK car.

I bought two bottles of the spray wax and after using it once those bottles just sit on the shelf. I can apply NXT in about the same time with better protection and the spray needs to go on the applicator if you try to spray it on the car much faster but it gets into all the cracks and then you have to clean. I probably will wind up throwing the spray wax away. NXT is so easy to use no need for the spray

I bought the spray wax together with the liquid wax. After using the spray wax twice, it has been sitting on the shelf ever since.
I agree with you the time is about the same for liquid wax and spray wax. But i feel spraying is slightly more convenience.
Instead of letting my spray wax sitting around, I thought of mixing it so that it can have more wax content and thus more useful.
I will try it sometime next week with half of my car with NXT wax and other half "boosted" NXT spray wax to see slickness and durability. If not too much difference, I will pour in half bottle of wax into my remain half spray wax.
            Will update.

Why not use them both. I have found both are easy to use. I have both and still use the spray. The spray I use after each car wash.

I apply NXT tech wax every time I drive my vette. Hows that for being anal about keeping a car looking good.

For those having issues with the spray wax getting all over: Get your hands on an Evencoat applicator and instead of spraying the paint, spray the applicator then work on the paint. The spray wax this way is defintniely faster to apply, drys faster, and is super easy to remove. I wax my truck once a month with the bosster wax everyweek.
