How to get rid of smell.

Hey guys did something stupid this week. Went grocery shopping and 2 cans of frozen OJ rolled out in the trunk without me knowing!!. Needless to say but they melted and leaked all over trunk.

After a few days quite a smell delveloped. PHEW!! Whats the best way to get rid of this??

Hey Kelly,

I would suggest shampooing the carpets using Meguiar's Heavy Duty Carpet and Interior Cleaner. This stuff works awesome!

If there is some residual smell remaining, I would then spray the carpet with Meguiar's Car Odor Eliminator

That should take car of any smells and make the carpet look like new!!

Ex girlfriends car has some orange juice concentrate spilled in it that I tried cleaning out. Fair warning if you try just cleaning it from the top you might temporarily make it worse by getting it damp. In my case it soaked through and had to get the carpet pulled up to get the source of it out. It depends how deep it was able to go.

Pulled carpet out of trunk, shampooed and let dry in sun. No more smell.
