Here's the question : What's the difference between the "Ultra Plush wash mit" and the "Deep pile chenile wash mit".
I'm looking for a new wash mit and I don't really know what to get since my Simoniz 100% lamb wool is junk.

Also, is the Ultra Plush wash pad as safe to use as a mit?
I'm asking that because I never use the mit as a mit...

    Thanks,
    Patrick

Well, I dont know what the difference between chenille, and the soft stuff on the ultra plush.. but both work really well. I dont even know what chenille is, even though I use the chnille myself.

Not sure what your second question is... The chenille one comes in a pad and a mit, so you can take your pick. The plush one just comes in a mit... but i guess you dont have to put your hand inside it. You could even put a regular spnge inside probably to give it some shape, and not use it as a mit.

      Hey Patrick,

It comes down to more of a personal choice. Some like the chenile while others like the Ultra Plush Wash Mitt. I use both and like them equally.

Chenille is a style of weave with deeply tufted loops of yarn (think shag carpet) to gently agitate dirt away from the finish, give the dirt a place to go (into the yarn, away from the finish) and hold a lot of wash solution. Chenille wash tools (as opposed to say, carpet) must be made for fibers that won't impart swirls themselves.

The Deep Pile Chenille Wash Mitt and Ultra Plush Chenille Wash Pad are made with soft cotton chenille.

The Ultra Plush Wash Mitt is sort of a synthetic "sheepskin" with thick tufts of individual fibers rather than yarn.

I like the ultra plush better than real sheepskin. It's lighter, dries faster and removes insects better IMO. It still absorbes alot of water and is very soft and easy to rinse clean

            Thanks for the reply guys!

I think I'm gonna get both the Ultra Plush mit and the Ultra Plush pad. This way I'll see which "form" I like the best.
