Hey 2hotford, To make sure we are on the same page do you mean M-8332 32 ounce? Local O'reilly store can have it here in the a.m. Also saw in the cataloge M-8132 hand polish. How does that compare to DC 2??

Thanks for all of your help!!

    Hi Kelly!

Meguiar's #83 DACP (M-8332) is a great product to remove swirls, and other blemishes in your paint. But it does work best by machine (PC or rotary). While your orbital will work, it will take considerable time for the diminishing abrasives to break down in the DACP. This could take several minutes for a 2'x2' area. You need to work the product until it is light residue, then remove with a MF towel.

Meguiar's #81 Hand Polish (M-8132) is a pure polish (like DC2, #3,5, 7) but was designed with the rest of the 80 series with clear coat in mind. Hence it is easier to work with. Some like to apply the #81 to the whole car and then remove. I prefer to apply and remove it one panel at a time. It does not need time to set up as it does not dry but rather skin's over. But it looks fantastic when completed!!!

Did you get some pictures loaded? I look forward in seeing the pictures!

Hey Tim! Sorry to get back so late. It's been cloudy here and I want to get a hard look at the hood in the sun. Pics on computer screen did not show the spots. So I did not send them.

So I went back and reread the thread on applying SX.
After some "passion" I think the spots started to disappearing in one area.. Hopefully the sun will be out at noon so I can see.
      Will let you know!!

BTW my SISTER has a Ford F-250 with V-10.

      Thanks again!!!!
