  • Mistake with Quik Detailer

I was at a car show today on a somewhat dusty lot. Halfway thru the show I used quik detailer to clean the car. I used quik detailer in about 80 degree heat and in direct sunlight. Now the car seems to have a haze that can be wiped off but only to reappear soon after.

Did I do any damage to my paint and how can I get the hazing to go away.

Give a pure polish a try on the area would be my guess. Meguiar's #7 perhaps. Not expert advice, mind you, but I have a feeling it could work.

    Maybe even scratch-x?

The polish might do it.........If not, then try ColorX.

Sounds odd.. though should be nothing permanent.

Have you given it a good wash as well?
