It shouldn't matter what polish and wax you use on the decal. Because if you have pinstriping on a car and you polish and wax over that and it doesn't do anything to it. So it should be ok to use Meguiar's Polish and NXT Tech Wax on it.

are you using a pc? if you using a rotery stay away from pin striping ect. If you using a pc you should be ok, but you'll want to be careful of any edges, you could end up with a wax line all around the screaming chicken. I did one of these cars a while back for a friend and I had to take my finger nail all around the bird to get old wax deposits out from under the edge. I couldn't even get a brush with some QD to help get it. it took about an hour to do it. and where my fingers killing me. but to use polish and wax on the sticker itself you should be fine.

maybe it was this particular car, but I tried that and it didn't work. I would of needed to turn the brush upside down as the wax was mostly on the sticker and not the paint. any way point is its better to go slow and be care ful than fast and be slower because of clean up.
