What is best to dry your vehical?

I always thought that a natural chamois was best.

    What is the experts opinion?

    Thanks:

Well, I dont know about expert, but I really like the Water Magnet Drying towel, which is a version of a waffle weave microfiber.

It absorbs a load of water, and you are supposed to be able to ring it out and keep going. I dont feel like ringing out towels, so I just have a couple extra. I can probably use about 2 for a Subaru Legacy, then 3-4 for a Toyota Avalon. Depends how well I sheet the water off.

Then a few cheap terry cloth towels for door jams, engine compartment, etc.

I also am far from expert but I know what works for me.

I first always do the sheathing of water from the hose. This gets off at least 50% of the laying water. Then, I use my leaf blower for the Wheels/Tires, Grill, headlights, wiper area, Mirrors, door handles and etc...

Then, as Murr1525 stated above, I use the Meg's Water Magnet. I find that if you use it as directed on the packaging by folding the towel in 1/4, it works great. I do my whole Explorer with one magnet (not the door jams, use MF Towels for those). BTW: I do the roof of the Explorer Last. This is where most of the laying water lies and this is where the Magnet gets soaked the most.

I had read somewhere throughout time that a Chamois was not the best method becouse of the tight pulling action that occurs. And if there is a grit of dirt under the chamois, your dragging it the entire time. That's my spin on it.

I use the water magnet and it work's ok. The only thing is you'll need to dry your vehicle a couple of time's with it to get all the water off of it.

I use my leaf blower and then catch what's left with a towel. The towel barely gets wet. The blower really gets the water out of any grooves and mirrors.

I've been using the meguiar's synthetic chamois and its worked like a charm. I was afraid to try the water magnet, it looked rough. But the other day at autozone I caught a feel of it and it was pretty soft.

I think you will find very satisfying results from any meguiar's drying product out there.
