nxt wax question

i plan on claying my truck and using show car glaze topped with nxt wax on my truck next weekend.(after messing it up once) my question is if i apply one coat of wax in the evening and wait to apply the second one the next day would it be okay to use final inspection before applying the second coat? my second question is if i apply the wax and then drive to a car show would it be okay to use final inspection once i got there? i thought i remembed reading somewhere on here that nxt needed to cure for so long before you put anything on it?

It is best to wait ~ 12 hours, or at least overnight before using any of the quick detailing type proiducts on wax.

That said, if you waxed in the morning, and then went to the car show in the evening, I dont think I'd worry too much.

they say to wait 24 hours to allow nxt or #21 to cure, however I have done both of what you asked with no ill effects. The 24 hour cure time is a worst case senirio. your cure time may be much shorter.

the thing about the car show is that i have to be thier at 9am and probaly wouldn't get the second coat on till around 7 am.

You clould also apply both coats the day before probably if possible.. maybe you can leave an hour or more between applications in the evening?

Either way it is before the complete curing time, but at least it would be cured for the morning.

the real point of two coats is to assure a even coat of protection, more than to add to looks.
