New kit list?

Hello all,

I have put together a list of items I'm thinking of buying to make a kit as such, if possible could the guys in the know have a look over and suggest anything they think I have missed or the kit would be better for having in it...........here we go: -

1 x G-100 or 7424 polisher
1 x back plate
2 x W8006 foam polishing pad
2 x W9006 foam finishing pad
2 x Microfibre bonnets
#80 speed glaze
#21 synthetic sealant (large)
NXT spray wax
Dashboard cleaner / conditioner
Leather cleaner / conditioner
3 x Microfibre towels
1 x Wah mitt
1 x Meguiars duffel bag or equivilant

What do we think?

Besides any soap, clay, wheel, tire, trim type things, you pretty much have everything. I guess those 3 microfiber towels are drying towels? Or supreme shine towels? If they are the water magent towels, fantastic.. if they are supreme shine, also good, as you will certainly want to be able to have some handy. You may need to order a couple of whichever isnt included.

You may need #83 if you have bigger swirls, if not, dont worry about it and use the #80, and only buy the #83 if you need it.

You may want an extra pack of bonnets, as well as a 7006 cutting pad to use with the bonnets. Do not use the 7006 pad for applying prouct, use it as a clean pad under the bonnets when removing product.

Makes perfect sense Murr thanks, I new I had forgotten somthing(s) and I will add these.

I do have a number of towels and cloths this was me just getting a few more as they are such good value when bought from the US.

As for swirls I'm glad to say that the last wash removed or at least covered them up, that was after using clay, SRP, #21 x 3, and wax x 2, the same applies to another car I did yesyerday "all swirls gone" so that;s the way I'm hoping to keep it

Now I just need the price!

You mention 3 coats of #21, and 2 coats of wax? #21 is a wax, and 5 coats of wax is a little bit much. Did you mean #81, which is a polish?

No Murr I did mean 3 coats of #21, it's listed as a synthetic sealant............actually it was 1 coat of EG Polish and 2 coats of #21!...........I was thinking that was 3 coats of sealant

And yes I know I went a bit nuts but I was enjoying myself........just didn't know when to stop eh
