  • Clay & Saturns

I have a black 99 Saturn that I have been using Deep Chrystal (all 3 steps) on since I bought it. But I do have some spider webs. I will blame the terry cloth, not me ... no ... not me never ...

From Mike's response ot 99ITR_SC I see that I should try some clay and then use the Cleaner. But here is my problem. I was told by the salesman that the Saturn paint is a soft paint because of the plastic body. Do you know if this is true? Would not the clay damage it? I am very hesitant to try it.

I have search the FAQ's to see if I can see what the difference between the 2 is and all I can figure out is this; the clay gets out what the cleaner will not.

I am not trying to steer you the wrong way, but I would think that the Deep Crystal Paint Cleaner would be more aggressive than claying....But maybe you need to let Mike help you with this one, as I don't claim to be a paint expert.
