I am a complete n00b, but I am going to stick with the Nxt Tech Wax Liquid.

It is the best wax I have ever used.

It has a Polymer based material instead of Carnuba, so it offers supperior long-lasting protection to all the elements.

The Tech Wax Liquid comes in an 18 oz bottle and costs about $16 plus sales tax.

You can use either the foam or the even coat applicator. I found the even coat applicator makes it go on very easily and more quickly and thin so it doesn't waste product and the wax will come off more easily.

I origionally made the mistake of buying the Nxt Spray Wax and was later told to get the Liquid or the Paste as the spray is for Maintainence. I used the spray and got very good results though. However, I later purchased the liquid.

I recomend you buy the Next Liquid Wax or the Paste. I personally don't like the paste, so I buy the liquid, but it really is preference.

Winter in Florida is prime detailing season

But for those of you with snow, cant go wrong with NXT, 20, 21, 16, , ect.

I've used #20 for the past 3-4 winters and it seems to hold up very well. Haven't tried NXT during the winter months yet, so can't comment on that.

Those guys from Florida sure have fun at our expense don't they djlockdown?? ....I agree that NXT Liquid is an excellent wax and I plan on putting two coats on my vehicles as often as I can during the winter months...I garage both my cars during the winter but that can almost make it worse since everthing melts off the car and gives the salt a chance to start corroding everything....I wish I had a center drain in my garage but until then, it's out in the cold with the hose whenever you can to wash off the salt...

At least we don't have to worry about our houses blowing away

I'm in NJ where the winters can be very harsh with all the slush and salt. I've had success with #20 holding up well in my enviroment. Try to keep your car washed in the winter it will help the protective layer last longer.

I think summer time heat is worse on a wax than winter cold, but we don't have to put up with too much salt & road chemicals either.

                Hey,

                Trust me...I know snow!!!!

For many, many years I have used Meguiar's #20 as my winter sealant. I just love the stuff. This winter I will probably try Meguiar's #21 Synthetic Sealant as I am having great success with the product!
