  • Taking the plunge with NXT Tech Wax

Well guy's I bought it. Now waiting for it to stop raining. We have had 6 inches since Fri. Since my car sits outside it got pounded . I'm figuring little wax is left on it.
I was wondering since three months ago I
    1. Quik Clayed
    2. DC 123
Now do I need to use DC 1 and 2 again? Or go straight to NXT??This is where I get confused. I was planning to clay since it gets tree sap.
Also last week I did my wifes car with DC123. I was wanting to put the NXT on top, is that ok??
    Thank you.

Meguiars teaches to wash and then evaluate the finish of the vehicle to see what it needs. Look at different angles and different light situations to search for scratches, swirls, oxidation ...etc...etc. Also take your CLEAN hand and feel the finish to determine if there are bonded contaminants. It is always a good idea to polish before waxing for higher gloss.

That is soemthing that will depend on the condition of your surface. Like Ranger said, you'll have to evaluate it yourself.

I keep a bottle of Colorx around for suh occasions, when I dont feel like doing all the steps.
