back from the shop - dc#2

so lets say I can interchange meg's #7 with DC2 polish....can I use the DC step 2 on my Yukon straight from the autobody shop.

atleast till the paint cures.

I have #80 as well, but just curious about a bodyshop safe glaze as I have some DC2 still lying around. cheers.

Besides all the stuff on that other thread, the short answer is that you can use either the #7 or the Deep Crystal Step #2 on fresh paint. The #7 will possibly look better but the DC #2 will probably be easier to use. Both are "pure polishes" and are fresh-paint-friendly.

My personal choice for fresh paint is #80, since it has a breathable
polymer in it for protection.

i'll keep it up with the DC2 for 30-40 days...

if it gets too swirlly, i'll switch to #80!!
