If you are referring to the haze, it is white in color. To answer your other question, it should look great on place, providing crisp, clear reflections and excellent wetness with 2 applications.
It is merely a matter of preference. If using a machine it is usually easier to apply the liquid to the pad. By hand many prefer to use the paste version, though I'm sure some prefer to use the liquid version for hand application as well. You don't necessarily have to wait 12 hours, you can apply 2 coats back to back and I'm sure you'll be fine.

Paint is not perfect. Looks like hood has either paint overspray(can not feel anything) or something worse. This car was a sales car and saw a lot of road so nose is kinda chipped up.
