hello this is my first posting so i hope i get it right the question i have is i am using the 3 step process to wax cleaner/polish/wax. now the cars look really good when they leave( But) in about a week it looks like i missed spots on the removal process.and i wind up washing and dring all over... any idea what i am not doing or not paying attention to.. i am just a hobby detailer cannot afford to redo.

Did you clay the car fist? Did you have a hard time removing any three of the products?

no i didnot clay first i did not seem to have a hard time removing any of the steps... you think it may be in the washing process.. not clean enough ?

Have been using Blue Corral wash and wax. and a wash mitt from wal mart like i said it is not the whole car just certain spots that it seems to come up on usually the sides as it stads i am taking around 3 hours to do the outside alone looks great for a few days (weeks) then this

There could be some surface dirt you cant see, that is casuing the wax to stick in those areas.

Do the wax spots always appear in the same spots? or sort of general area?

Maybe you simply missed some spots when you were wiping the dried wax off. This is easy enough to do, especially when the lighting is not ideal. You probably don't see the missed spots until the next day, when the car is parked outside in different lighting.

The Blue Corral wash soap is not gentle on wax.

When looking for a wash soap, read the back, and only buy one that states "will not strip off wax"

I think Megs pretty much has the only ones that say that, maybe EO too, i dunno.

In answer to your question,the best i can come up with anyways.

If, when you were done it looked great, and after washing with the Blue Corral soap you are seeing white hazyness, then i would have to say it is because the soap isnt rinsing off completly and cleanly.

Or, when you are done you see areas that look like you missed a spot when washing, then you may have just missed a spot.

Are you using anything to dry your vehicle?

Alot of people put on more than one coat(2) to make sure they have good coverage with their "wax".

Go to Target and buy a gallon of Gold Class shampoo. Be sure to follow the directions on the bottle too.

If the cars you're working on are daily drivers, then it is important that you clay the finish after washing and before using a paint cleaner. Claying removes above surface contaminants better than any other remedy and enables all your other products to do their job more effectively.

ok i got a lot of ideas now i'll start to find one that works some of you took it that the haze was after i washed it again . but it was not washed the haze just showed up after a few days like the wax was pulling away.. these were newer cars and when they left the shop i pulled them outside and wiped them down again. they looked great... i think i should try the clay after washing and yes these are everyday cars maybe get a wash not a wash/wax product. let you know how it goes the wife car is tomorrow

Before I clay, use a cleaner, polish and wax I always use a micro degreaser on the paint. Let it sit there for a few minutes and the dirt will be removed with a Pressure washer or hose, without touching the paint=less maring. I'm not sure if Meguiars has something like this, but It's neutral and I don't know what I would do without it in the winter, when the dirt really sticks to the paint. it's not so bad for the wax either but it sure helps in the washing process. After that I use Meguiars NXT Wash with the GC Ultra Plush Wash Mitt.
