NXT Tech Wax - Hiding Ability

Here's a before and after picture of a Subaru Forester. The only thing done to this section was one coat of NXT Tech Wax applied by PC. The scratches shown in the picture are from the owner's dog who tends to jump on the car, causing scratches all over the entire car. I was amazingly impressed with NXT's ability to hide the appearance of these scratches. Fairly poor image quality but if you look closely you can see the difference.

I wonder what it would look like if you were to remove the wax with alcohol or something?
