One application of a pure polish is all that is ever needed. The role of a pure polish is to build on the results of the paint cleaner, just like the role of a wax is to build on the results of a pure polish.

In some cases, multiple applications of a paint cleaner are necessary to sufficiently remove the defects. After the defects have been removed, the next step of applying a pure polish is a one application process and then move on.

Its been raining for 2 days now.
That's hard on a person when they eager to work on a car. Where I live, we're in about a 3rd or 4th week of temperatures around and over 100 degrees! This makes it hard also to work on a car for the extreme opposite reason...

I've used Scratch-X on the whole car, and the 3 step system, subbing NXT for the Step 3 wax. Made a pretty decent look possible, I also clayed a couple weeks ago, and got hooked on it and the DC System so much that I had to do the GF's sister's crazy swirly car, as well as he dad's truck. Big difference on both of them, not so big on my car, but only because the paint's in awesome shape due to all the washing and waxing I do. Someone keyed a line down it when I first got it and it looked beaterish, and just washing and Gold Class/NXT waxing alone took it out about 90%. It took about 2 years, but it still removed it. Scratch-X did the rest.

Also, it's great to see another person from NS on here!
