I posted awhile back how the nose of my car looked like salt and pepper. Well I got the urge to try ScratchX per Mikes instructions and man it looks better!! Just did a test section, will wait untill it cools off, the temps are in the mid 90's right now. Wish I could post pics. I have a digi camera but my computer runs Windows 95. No hook up. Next I am doing the hood for it has a few probs. This is a fantastic sight!!! I haved learned so much. Thanks to all.

ScratchX Awesome
I must be coming down with "car crazy". I went back out and did a test area on the hood. Man it turned out like new!! This is a daily driver with 94,000 miles and sits outside under an oak.
Now I am thinking of putting some 3M tape down the middle of the hood and apply DC#3 on oneside and the ShiningMonkey carnauba on the other. Anyone used this??
I noticed some painted trim that is flat black, any suggestions??MOL- Welcome to the world of real detailer's

This is my favorite for trim: Gold Class Trim Detailer
It costs only $2.99 per bottle of 10 oz. and seems to last forever. Great stuff.

Could not find GC Trim Detailer but did find GC vinyl and rubber protectant, bought that. Did another part of the hood last night. I swear the paint turned BLACKER and shinier or the true color is now coming out. Now I need another tube of Scratch X!!MOL- Welcome to the world of real detailer's
