  • Finally....

Got the wax out of the creavases! Used q-tips. I also mentally went over how I went over the car in the first place. I got in a hurry. Thanks Mike. Wish I had more time to be online!
While cleaning out the wax I took notice of the rubber trim around the windows, headlights etc. Now I never did anything but wash them. I was thinking since I had the q-tip I was thinking of using that to put some sort of protectant on the trim. What do you all recommend or am I getting OCD .

    Hey,

Cleaning the trim around the windows etc makes a big difference in the presentation of a well detailed vehicle. I would Meguiar's Gold Class Trim Detailer. Apply it, leave it sit for a few minutes, then wipe off with a MF towel. The trim will look great!

Thanks. I will try it. Do I apply it before or after waxing?

That is more of a personal choice. I tend to apply it after as I tape the trim before buffing. If I applied it before, the tape would not stick to the trim.
