ColourX & Scratch X Questions.

Which Of these products should I apply first after washing and claying the entire vechile? Should I apply Scratch X to the worse scratches I wanna try and remove. Or do the whole vechile with Colour X, Then the scratch X.

And one other question. Should I also Buy a polish? Or is Colour X suitable?

ScratchX is a scratch remover.
ColorX is a cleaner polish wax combo.
so use scratchx first on the heavier scratches then colorx.

Thats what I was thinking. Will the ColorX remove Swirls? or should I also apply ScratchX to the worse of those spots as well?

color x will help with swirls because it has polish in it but for best results use scratchX.

not really colorx has polish in it as well as wax. So either use colorx or go with deep crystal polish and then wax. however after using colorx another light coat of wax would be good.

Just to help here a little,

The ColorX will help to remove swirls because it contains a microscopic diminishing abrasive as well as chemical cleaners, the polish would be the polishing oils that restore clarity and richness of color while also helping to lubricate the surface during the cleaning action.

A lot of people when they see the word polish automatically assume this to mean a product, or components of a product that is the abrasive, or contains the abrasive and that's not always true of Meguiar's products because we make two kinds of polishes, cleaner/polishes, (polishes with diminishing abrasives), and pure polishes, (polishes that are completely non-abrasive).

Meguiar's Cleaner/Waxes are part, cleaner, part polish and part wax, or paint protection, the cleaner part is the part that removes the swirls.

On that note, ScratchX is a much more effective swirls and scratch remover than ColorX because it is a dedicated paint cleaner, as in that is it's sole purpose whereas ColorX while being a strong cleaner/wax is effective at removing light swirls, especially when applied by machine, because it's an all in one product, at the same time it's cleaning, it's also polishing and protecting.
