greeings from Aussie land.
I've bought myself a Cherry Red 96 eunos which i believe is called an MX-3 over there. Anyhow ive given it a wash and applied some Kitten cut and polish then over the top with some Meguiars Deep Crystal Weet look ( only applied to the front right guard ). I thought at this point i would stop and come show you some pics of what is going on.
Please excuse the poor quality of the camera - these were taken in poor lighting also and thus the close ups look like my car is orange.
There is some swirl marks in the paintwork and some scratch marks from keys (i think) ... of course and i would like to get rid of them. I was hoping that by showing some pics i could get some suggestion on what might be the best products to use.
here is the drivers door with some scratches i was talking about and swirl marks

the front right guard after both of the applications have been put on (this angle does it more justice than it really looks like)

the rear spoiler is quite faded in comparison to the rest of the car. not sure what to do with this one

a better indication of the colour of the car from the bonnet

the same guard after polish but from a better angle showing the swirls etc

around the drivers door handle

car from the side
http://www.users.bigpond.net.au/acrepair/eunos 018.jpg
the colour of my open weave cloth after buffing (this is the part that concerns me)
http://www.users.bigpond.net.au/acrepair/eunos 020.jpg
does this mean my clear coat is gone or something?
Am curious to know what is the PC i hear ppl talking about?
I look forward to some of your opinions and hopefully some help for me
TIA
