To start off I would like to say this seems like a great board.
Ok, I am new to detailing (waxing in general, always had it done) and wanted to ensure that I have my products and steps in line so that I dont mess up my new truck or the wifes GT. Please bare with me.
A little information, if needed, I live in East Central FL on the coast. The Truck is 05' Silver Birch and the 02' GT is Silver in color.
1. Clean car with ~ G-12664 NXT Car Wash
2. Clay with ~ G-1116 Quick Clay
3. Clean Paint with ~ G-10307 Scratch X
4. Wax with G-12711 NXT Tach Wax Paste
5. Inbetween full waxes wash, touch up with G-12824 NXT Spray Wax
Then do it all over again in a months time or so as desired?
How many times should I use the Scratch X before waxing and then how many coats of wax?
Also will I gain better results on the cars if I use a buffer?
I know that I get what I pay for, but money is always on a tight budget and dont want to pay $200 for a Buffer. What other decent and usable ones should I look for at a lower cost?
Thanks in advance
Sorry also what Towels and or pads should be used for aplying removing these products?
