What is best overall cleaner, polish and wax which will last for over three weeks striaght without reduing it again for the daily driving vehicle?

With one application that takes all punishes from mother nature?

Or are there any out there?

    Thanks!!

Well if you are looking for a paint cleaner and polish, they dont really have "durability" because you pretty much work a cleaner and remove excess without leaving any behind, and a polish you just fill the pores in the paint and remove the excess. However, when it comes to wax, NXT is the best protectant wax that meguiars makes. 2 light coats will last quite a while, and your 3 week requirment wont be a problem. For a polish try #81, similar to #7 but more user friendly.

NXT is very durable, but I'd like to think that all of Meg's waxes & sealants would last at least a month, IMO.

So your saying that most of these items 'should' last up to a month on a daily driver.

Right now I bought and placed on my daily driver yesturday in this order.

Gold Class clear coat prep and swirl reducer(took off my water spots - nice job ), Show Car Glaze #7 and then one layer of Gold Class clear coat liquid wax. These three steps where on seperate applicators.

Will this work or should I do something else?

        Or use the NTX products?

        Thanks.

They should in my opinion, and if you wash your car properly they should last even longer, but there are a lot of variables that can affect the life of a wax.

Your combo sounds pretty good, but I didn't know that GC Clear Coat Prep and Swirl Reducer was even available any more!.......It's been a few years since I last used it......Did it go on and off ok for you?

I think NXT is the more durable wax here, but GC has been reformulated of late.

If you're looking for a one-step process, ColorX is a Cleaner, Polish and Wax, all-on-one

            ColorX

That should easily last a month depending on how you treat your vehicle.

I found the GC Clear Coat Prep/Reducer in my auto shop I go to. If I can't find anymore, what would my alternate be?

I had no problems with it. I did what the instructions said and did a wonderful job on the water spots and the swirl marks. Not all are gone but over 90% of them vanished.
I just can't seem to get rid of the others. It looks like they are deep in the paint and some are on the stickers I have on the hood. Any ideas on how to get them out?

I'll finish up the Gold Class Wax I have left and then turn to NXT.

I'll use the Color X on the New Mustang. I just don't have the time preping, polishing and waxing both vehicles.

              Thanks for your help.

ScratchX, ColorX, or Deep Crystal #1, but my choice would be #80 Speed Glaze if you have a DA polisher (G-100).

For some reason, I never could get this product to work for me, as it gummed up on the paint in places.

Try ScratchX by hand on these areas, but it could be that they are embedded to the point that a machine will have to get them out.......But a little passion with SX and a terry pad might do the trick.

Either ScratchX or M09 Swirl Remover 2.0 would be good substitutes with ScratchX being much more effective at actually removing below surface defects by hand.

Time to consider stepping up to machine polishing with a dual action polisher. Besides that, try using some ScratchX and follow the instruction in this how-to article.

Well. I'm no good on the machine buffer/polisher. I keep puting way to much polish/wax on it(flys everywhere) and did a lousy job on the vehicle. I do a better job using my sweat.

I'll have to get the Scratch X to do the job. Seems like the best alternate.

Thanks to Rusty Bumper and Mike Phillips for your dedication to car care.
