I am using a Mirka DA backing plate. It fits the G100/PC but it is bigger than the Meguiars backing.
It reaches out to almost the end of the 6 inch pad and gives it support out to almost the edge. The last 1/4 inch is rubber so if you bump part of the vehicle your DA'ing it will not damage it.
