    Hey,

If I were you, I would use a Shop Vac and get any remaining moisture out as soon as possible. You may also have to pull the carpet out to allow the underlay type material to air dry. But most likely, if you leave your windows open in a secure area, the carpet will probably air dry. Or you could use a blow dryer as well if the carpet is only damp.

Now...if the carpet has a smell to it, then other steps may need to be taken. Just try drying it first.

    Please keep us posted!

You can try a wet/dry vacuum to remove most of the water. If not you can also try using some old bath towels. Take the floor mats and let it dry on the sun. Once you get most of the water out, leave your windows open either at your garage or outside if weather allows. Since it was an A/c water leak (hopefully from a clogged A/C drain tube than an heater core failure, you will experience some foul odors. Spay some odor eliminator on the carpet. Remember, its a slow process. So have a little patience.
      Cheers!

You could at the end of the day place a small fan in the car and leave some windows down and let the fan blow through the night. This will create a wind current and help insure any moisture in the carpet has a chance to evaporate out.
